JB Home Company

Meghan Palabrica lives in Maplewood, NJ with her husband and three young boys. She’s the founder of JB Home Company and also works with Studio Envie, a design-build firm in nearby South Orange.

Originally from Baltimore, she moved to New York City after college and spent more than a decade working in luxury retail. After moving from Brooklyn to Maplewood with her two boys (and later welcoming a third!), Meg shifted gears to focus on home, design, and creativity—leading to the launch of JB Home Company.

These days, when she’s not busy with work or family, she’s patiently renovating her 1898 farmhouse—an ever-evolving project—or curating new scents and candles for her collection.

Current Member Shops

The Co-Lab at South Orange is a business incubator and marketplace offering space to support entrepreneurs at all stages. It also serves as a community space, showcasing local art and hosting events that promote creativity, culture, and education.
