Meadowland Park Conservancy

Meadowland Park Conservancy was founded in 2020 with a mission to transform Meadowland Park into a vibrant outdoor destination and welcoming place of respite for South Orange residents and neighboring communities.

As the area’s largest open green space spanning 45 acres, Meadowland Park is a vital community gathering place where nature, recreation, and connection come together. Through fundraising, community events, and partnerships, the Conservancy supports projects that restore, enhance, and preserve the park’s natural beauty for future generations.

While South Orange Village oversees daily park operations and athletic facilities, Meadowland Park Conservancy focuses on improving and protecting the park’s unique natural spaces — from gardens and landscaping to environmental stewardship initiatives and community-centered enhancements. Every dollar raised helps create a more beautiful, accessible, and inspiring park experience for all.

The Co-Lab at South Orange is a business incubator and marketplace offering space to support entrepreneurs at all stages. It also serves as a community space, showcasing local art and hosting events that promote creativity, culture, and education.
